Job Summary
- Description of the role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Home Caregiver to join our team at Senior Helpers of Northern this role you will provide essential support and assistance to elderly individuals who require help with daily activities and personal care. Your presence and care will greatly contribute to their well-being and overall quality of life. - Shifts: Day Evening Night and Weekend shifts available.
- Areas: We service Logan Smithfield Providence Hyrum Wellsville Tremonton Brigham City and surrounding communities.
- Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing grooming and dressing.
- Administering medication and ensuring clients take prescribed medicines timely.
- Preparing and serving meals according to clients dietary needs and preferences.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assisting with mobility and accompanying clients to appointments or social outings.
- Keeping accurate records of client care including daily activities meals and medication administration.
- Monitoring client health and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. - Requirements:
- Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role preferably in a home care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Strong empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 years old or older. - Benefits:
