Job Summary

Role: AWS Platform Engineer

Location: Scarborough ON (Hybrid)

Mode: Contract

Platform Engineering (JD Snapshot #1)

Experience

Strong working experience with AWS services as EC2 RDS API Gateway Lambda DynamoDB Elastic Cache ECS ALB/NLB Load Balancers S3 EBS VPC Secret Manager Parameter Store Endpoints Endpoint Services etc.
Strong Experience in Networking using Direct connect TGW and Datacenters connectivity.
Cloud Landing Zone setup using AWS Cloud Native services and third party solutions .
Cloud Watch Monitoring and implementation using enterprise tools and Automation configuration management tools like chef Puppet SSM etc.
Knowledge on containers using AWS container services ECS and EKS
Strong cloud programming skill with experience in AWS Lambda functions or any other scripting languages like Python / Bash /Node JS and JAVA to automate resource creation.
Good understanding in using AWS CLI Cloud formation AWS CDK Terraform Ansible with troubleshooting experiences
Strong knowledge of Cloud Security practices and IAM Policy preparation for AWS.
CloudTrail Guard Duty Macie AWS Config AWS inspector etc.
Experience with DevOps tools will be an added advantage like Jenkin or AWS native Code Pipeline
Know-how of working with Python / Bash scripting will help
Good understanding and exposure with DevOps tools like Jira BitBucket Git Confluence Artifactory SonareQube etc
Hands-on experience in programming/ scripting languages like Python PowerShell Bash
Ability to participate and work with fast-paced DevOps and System Engineering teams within Scrum /Kanban Agile methodologies
Working experience on containers like Docker or AWS Container services will be an added advantage
Know-how on AWS and its related services like EC2 RDS API Gateway S3 EBS VPC Secret Manager Parameter Store will also help
