The Respiratory Neuro Diagnostics Specialist provides respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. This role involves advanced respiratory interventions monitoring and patient assessment in both long-term care and acute care settings. The specialist will manage ventilation perform diagnostic procedures and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

This role involves advanced respiratory interventions monitoring and patient assessment in both long-term care and acute care settings. The specialist will manage ventilation perform diagnostic procedures and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Location:Batavia New York United States
Responsibilities:
- Perform ABG sampling and interpret results.
- Manage patients on mechanical ventilation including Servo-U LTV NKV330 and V60 ventilators.
- Administer pulmonary hygiene treatments.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine respiratory status.
- Provide airway management including endotracheal tube suctioning extubation and intubation assistance.
- Place and manage nasal and oral airways.
- Collect sputum specimens.
- Manage tracheostomy care including suctioning.
- Administer oxygen therapy via handheld devices T-piece trach collar bag and mask ET tube and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC).
- Manage BiPAP and CPAP therapies.
- Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms on ventilators.
- Wean patients from mechanical ventilation.
- Float between long-term care and acute care units as needed.

- Required to float from LTC to Acute care as needed.
- Weekend coverage required every other week (EOW).
