Assisting Hands Home Care Merrillville is now hiring Caregivers Home Health Aides (HHA) Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) Personal Care Aides (PCA) and Home Care Assistants to provide non-medical in-home care for clients in Crown Point Indiana.

We are looking for reliable compassionate and experienced caregivers who want to make a difference by helping seniors remain safe and independent at home.

Flexible Schedules Available

We offer Days Evenings Overnights Weekends PRN and After-School shifts.
You choose the schedule that works best for you.

Job Responsibilities

Caregivers may provide:

Personal care assistance (bathing dressing grooming toileting feeding)
Mobility and transfer support (walker wheelchair gait belt)
Companionship and conversation
Meal preparation and assistance with eating
Light housekeeping laundry and home organization
Transportation to appointments errands and activities
Medication reminders (no medication administration)
Dementia and Alzheimers care
Monitoring reporting and documenting changes in client condition
Maintaining a clean and safe home environment

Pay & Benefits

$14$16 per hour (based on experience and client needs)

Caregiver Requirements

Able to work in Lake County and Porter County IN
Valid drivers license & reliable transportation
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Current TB test or willingness to obtain one
Current CPR certification or willing to complete
Dependable compassionate and trustworthy
Experience as a Caregiver CNA HHA PCA DSP Home Health Aide or Personal Care Assistant preferred
