Description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE 6:30am-3:00pm. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford may be eligible for up to $15000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening night and weekend shift differential

Overtime

On-call pay

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

Experience assisting in robotic-assisted cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Required
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a cardiovascular operating room or as a RN. Preferred
Prior completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with related experience or successful completion of Scrub RN competency (Internal Northern Illinois Program). Required

Licenses & Certifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Required
Prior to March 1 2026 there was no ACLS requirement and after March 1 2026 require the ACLS within one year of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Preferred
Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
