UAA Center for Human Development/Alaska Training Cooperative promotes healthcare and behavioral health career development opportunities for direct support professionals supervisors and professionals in the filed engaged with the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority beneficiaries by ensuring that training technical assistance and training is accessible and coordinated. The IS Ops Technician will provide the project management and in-house support for the Learning Management System (LMS) and other technical skills needed to maintain the AKTCs workforce training mission.

A successful candidate will possess Solid interpersonal/Customer service and communication skills in different environments like in-person training sessions and conferences using phone email and zoom formats; abilities to adapt and adopt new technologies/software as needed to support training program and an ability to work well in teams and track multiple projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in a relevant field (i.e. information technology or other related field) and 3 years experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience with mid-level Microsoft SQL server.
Experience with tracking and workflow with registration systems and/or learning management systems.
Experience with project management.
Experience providing support/customer service for people of varying levels of abilities and experience (i.e. non-traditional learners & learners with disabilities).
Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is a full-time term-funded non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary andfull employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options annual leave 12 paid holidays per year tuition waivers for employees and family members and affordable medical dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on theUA Staff Salary Schedule Grade 78 based on education and experience.
