Overview
The Planning & Schedules Manager leads all project planning scheduling forecasting and delay analysis activities. The role ensures that road and infrastructure projects are executed within approved timeframes through effective project controls.
Your role
- Develop maintain and manage the Master Project Schedule using Primavera P6.
- Review contractor baseline programs and provide recommendations for approval.
- Monitor project progress forecast completion dates and develop recovery plans.
- Lead schedule risk assessments and delay/impact analysis.
- Generate periodic project progress dashboards and KPI reports.
- Coordinate with project managers engineers and contractors for progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with contractual scheduling requirements (FIDIC preferred).
- Lead planning team and mentor junior planning engineers.
About you
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 1218 years planning experience with at least 8 years in road projects.
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of project controls earned value analysis and delay analysis (EOT).
- Excellent leadership and analytical skills.
