About the opportunity
This is a senior leadership opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high quality person-centred care within a well established rural health service. As Director of Clinical Operations/Nursing (DCON) you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all clinical services supporting safe effective and sustainable care delivery.
As a member of the Executive team the DCON provides oversight across Acute Care Aged Care Primary Care Community Care and Education and contributes to the achievement of organisational priorities. The Health Service operates in the public health environment and is supported by stable staffing levels sound financial management and a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
About you
You are a Registered Nurse with senior leadership experience and a solid foundation in clinical governance quality and safety and the regulatory and funding environments that support health service delivery. You bring the ability to work strategically while remaining connected to operational realities and your experience and professional judgement position you well to contribute meaningfully at an executive level. This role will suit someone with established senior leadership experience as well as someone ready to take the next step in their executive career within a supportive and stable organisation.
