The APAC Financial Services Industry team is seeking enterprise sales professionals to partner with Japans leading banks on their most critical digital transformation and modernization priorities. With more than 40 years of service to customers in Japan our team is one of the most dynamic and diverse communities in the software industry bringing deep domain expertise and a shared passion for shaping the future of financial services through datadriven innovation and AIpowered decisioning.

In this role you will own the full sales cycle building and converting a strong pipeline in the Banking territory in collaboration of a cross-functional team. Youll also act as a trusted advisor to our customers helping shape customer success influence business strategy develop lasting client relationships and grow your career in a curious collaborative and high-performing team environment.

As an Account Executive you will:

  • Sell software solutions and services to current and prospective customers by leveraging sales opportunities to acquire grow and retain accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Prospect within assigned accounts to uncover business needs qualify opportunities and determine resources required for success.
  • Implement territory and account management strategies identifying high-potential accounts advancing opportunities through the sales cycle and forecasting timelines to close business.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales resources virtual sales teams account managers and executives to ensure timely responses to qualified high-revenue leads and strategic account development.
  • Prepare quotations proposals and contracts working cross-functionally to finalize agreements and set delivery schedules.
  • Follow up with customers to monitor satisfaction uncover additional revenue opportunities and nurture ongoing relationships.
  • Utilize company account planning tools and sales methodologies for pipeline management forecasting and identifying accounts with strong close potential.
  • Apply knowledge of company marketing goals industry trends and SAS applications to assess account needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and execute action plans to close business for high-potential accounts and further expand relationships within the territory.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organizations secure software development goals.

Required qualifications

  • 5 years experience in the sales marketing or business development of software solutions (including related services) with a focus on the banking vertical.
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing enterprise sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Ability to apply strategic sales techniques related to the assigned industry with good knowledge of software acquisition cycles and buying influences.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan; work independently as well as effectively in a team environment; relate technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs; and travel as needed to support business activities.
  • Full proficiency in Japanese is required and conversational fluency in English desired.
  • Bachelors degree preferably in Business Marketing MIS or other relevant discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of related education training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
