Job Summary

We are seeking an outstanding passionate and innovative teacher to take the lead of our Geography department and drive it forward with vision and enthusiasm. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational educator to shape the geographical learning journey of our students fostering their curiosity global awareness and love of the subject.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Head of Geography to support the school in achieving its operational and strategic aims to drive it forward on its rapid improvement journey ensuring our students have access to high-quality teaching and learning opportunities.

We are looking for a well-qualified experienced and enthusiastic teacher to lead the Geography department to inspire a deep understanding of the world and a genuine passion for the subject among our students.

The central focus of all Head of Subject posts is to secure the achievement of the highest quality teaching together with continuous improvement in student learning and attainment. This involves the development management and maximising of staff skills and expertise.

The Details

Start Date: May or September 2026

Salary: MPR/UPR plus TLR2 (Fringe)

Contract Type: Full-time and Permanent

Closing Date: Friday 27th February at 9.30am
