At 28 Villages we provide accommodation catering and village services to remote mining operations across Western Australia. Our kitchens are the heart of our villages and were on the lookout for a talented Pastry Chef to bring creativity consistency and quality to our dessert and bakery offerings.
The Role
As our Pastry Chef youll be responsible for producing a wide range of high-quality desserts and baked goods in a bulk cooking environment. Youll take pride in presentation flavour and efficiency while working as part of a supportive close-knit kitchen team.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing crib cakeshot desserts cold desserts slices mousses and jellies for daily service
- Baking fresh breads including bread rolls focaccias and baguettes
- Ensuring all products meet food safety and quality standards
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen
About You
- Qualified Pastry Chef or equivalent experience
- Confident producing desserts and baked goods in a bulk catering environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Organised reliable and able to work independently
- FIFO or remote site experience is highly regarded (but not essential)
