Are you ready to inspire and nurture the next generation Join our team as a Daycare Teacher where youll collaborate with a dynamic Early Childhood Special Education team to design and implement play-based instruction for children fostering growth learning and positive self-esteem. This opportunity is within an inclusive special education classroom ensuring each child gets the attention they deserve.
Position Details:
- Full-time: 40hours per week MondayFriday following our daycare calendar.
- Competitive rate of pay: $18.75 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Co-teach and co-plan under the lead of the Special Education Teacher and in collaboration with other Daycare Teachers using assigned curriculum.
- Provide high quality care and instruction to all students through fun age and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Create a safe nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Actively participate in team meetings sharing educational insights and problem-solving collaboratively.
- Maintain open communication with families keeping them informed and supported.
- Collaborate with the team to utilize diverse techniques and perspectives in program design.
- Keep accurate records of childrens progress and attendance and prepare reports for parent conferences.
- Attend required training sessions ensuring compliance with OCFS regulations and program requirements.
- And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education (one of the following):
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education Childhood Development or related field OR
- Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and 1 year related experience OR
- 9 College credits in Early Childhood Child Development or related field with a plan of study to get to CDA or Associate Degree and 2 years of experience related to caring for children.
Physical Capability
- Ability to physically assist children to participate in the program; ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds; ability to engage in repetitive movements such as sitting/kneeling on floor bending and stooping; ability to move quickly to attend to a running child.
