General Office Cleaner Job Description
Position Summary Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout office facilities to ensure a safe healthy and professional work environment for all employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Daily cleaning tasks include vacuuming carpeted areas and mopping hard floor surfaces emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners cleaning and sanitizing restrooms including toilets sinks mirrors and replenishing supplies dusting furniture desks windowsills and office equipment cleaning glass doors and windows and wiping down common areas such as break rooms conference rooms and reception areas.
Weekly responsibilities involve deep cleaning of restrooms and break rooms sanitizing door handles light switches and frequently touched surfaces cleaning and organizing storage areas and restocking cleaning supplies and paper products.
Additional duties include reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to management securing the building according to established protocols following proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and requesting replenishment as needed.
We are seeking self-motivated candidates with high attention to detail who can work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Fluency in English is required.
