The Summer Logistics Intern is responsible for supporting ongoing initiatives to improve data visibility streamline processes and enhance decision-making through analytics. Work on data analytics and analysis for supply chain focusing on logistics and distribution. Assist leaders in analytics like labor efficiency logistics spend warehousing and quality.
This position reports to the VP of logistics and distribution and will be an on-site role in Sunnyvale CA.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and apply data analytics skills to support logistics and distribution operations.
- Analyze efficiency metrics and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support warehousing and quality operations through data-driven insights.
- Contribute to strategic projects that improve fulfillment performance and customer satisfaction.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Current rising Senior pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in business engineering math computer science statistics or applicable science related field.
- Excel / Google Sheets
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Pivot tables
- Basic formulas (SUM IF COUNT)
- Data entry accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret reports
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- ERP systems (SAP Oracle NetSuite)
- WMS or TMS systems
- Basic data analysis or Power BI/Tableau
The hourly range for this role is $28.00/hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
