Location: The Learning Experience Newark DE
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
Pay: $17$20 per hour
- Provide lead-level classroom coverage across multiple age groups as needed
- Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Maintain a safe nurturing and engaging classroom environment
- Support early literacy math social skills and creative exploration
- Assist with daily routines including meals rest time and transitions
- Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to ensure classroom consistency
- Communicate professionally with families and staff
- Maintain compliance with Delaware licensing and center policies
- TECE I and TECE II required
- High school diploma or GED required
- CDA or early childhood coursework strongly preferred
- Minimum 6 months classroom experience (1 year preferred)
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to meet all Delaware childcare licensing and background requirements
