About the Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a high performing Contracts Manager to join us and manage our Municipal operation in the Kopu / Thames region.
The role works alongside the established management and leadership team in the branch in a region which has been set up to provide a strong regional support network.
The position responsibilities cover the full operational and financial management of a group of sites and employees including leading a strong safety culture managing employees vehicle and site maintenance and compliance requirements meeting financial targets and budgets and interacting with a large municipal partner and at times a large commercial customer base.
The person we are looking for must have a high health and safety performance record a customer service focus and operational excellence background to provide and maintain a safe and efficient workplace for our team and customers. Ideally you will have had exposure to working in a fast changing multifaceted workplace where your strong organisational skills have been tried and tested. A company vehicle will be provided for the role considering the travel requirements across the region.
Qualifications :

- Key characteristics honesty integrity and accountability
- Experience managing mid-sized teams
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the business in both written and verbal settings
- Experience interpreting the P&L and ability to speak to variances
- A high level of business acumen
- Experience in transport logistics or the waste industry would be preferred.
