Job Summary:

The Systems Intelligence Platform Sr. IT Project Manager will lead complex initiatives across the Health Data Repository (HDR) and Systems Intelligence Solutions teams. This role is responsible for managing project timelines resources deliverables and cross team coordination for multiple large projects and enhancements. Beyond traditional project oversight this position is expected to actively engage in understanding the work at a deeper level - observing workflows learning system capabilities and analyzing current challenges to ensure solutions are well aligned with business needs.
The Sr. IT Project Manager will proactively explore how processes work today ask insightful questions to uncover gaps map processes and dependencies and help teams clarify requirements. This role will design and facilitate meaningful testing scenarios validate assumptions with stakeholders and support rapid thorough decision making. Success in this role requires being a hands on partner to technical and operational teams driving clarity improving communication and ensuring strong execution throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate all phases of complex initiatives across the Systems Intelligence and HDR teams ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Drive proactive planning dependency tracking risk management and clear stakeholder communication.

  • Develop a strong understanding of operational and technical workflows to inform project decisions and uncover root problems.

  • Map processes identify gaps challenge assumptions and translate findings into actionable requirements.

  • Facilitate working sessions to refine scope validate use cases and ensure cross-functional alignment.

  • Create and organize test scenarios acceptance criteria and validation workflows; coordinate endtoend testing and issue resolution.

  • Partner closely with technical operational and analytical teams to ensure the right people and information are engaged at the right time.

  • Streamline project documentation reporting and communication pathways.

  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution workflow efficiency and team collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree is required.

  • Epic experience.

  • Experience with healthcare operational workflows.

  • Knowledge of software development data platforms or healthcare application development.

  • Ability to understand complex workflows ask insightful questions and translate findings into clear requirements.

  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience creating and executing project plans test plans UAT or workflow-based validation.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Ability to create process maps diagrams or structured documentation for diverse audiences.

Often takes a lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to resolve high priority issues. Consistently delivers solutions in a creative and imaginative manner while setting a standard for others. Contributes in the development of best practices for Issues Management for the organization.
Project Communications (Advanced): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in conducting project communications in challenging and complex situations. Demonstrates ability to deliver complicated information effectively and efficiently selecting the appropriate message for the audience. Facilitates open communication across functions and within unit. Able to highlight and emphasize major ideas issues and points dramatically and effectively. Often takes a lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to communicate critical project information. Consistently delivers project communications products and services in a creative and imaginative manner while setting a standard for others. Contributes in the development of project communications best practices for the organization.
Project Planning (Advanced): Demonstrates ability to forecast resource needs identify and break work down into discrete and measurable tasks set priorities define dependencies schedule activities prepare acceptance criteria and organize work for large complex projects requiring diverse functions and/or operations. Continuously monitors and follows up on buyins and commitments. Competently handles multiple projects simultaneously balancing and scheduling tasks requiring dependencies and those which can be accomplished independently. Accurately estimates and plans complex projects and assignments. Maintains perspective between the overall picture and the details. Is proficient in the advanced features of project management tools.
Project Coordination (Advanced): Manages interdependencies among multiple related and unrelated projects whose coordinated delivery is required to achieve higher organizational objectives. Identifies opportunities for cross-discipline participation. Develops and documents project policies and procedures. Manages the overall coordination status reporting and stability of major project efforts ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time scope and resource requirements. Contributes to the development of Project Coordination best practices for the organization.
