Job Summary
Nemours Childrens Health is seeking a Medical Director of Pediatric Complex Care in Jacksonville Florida.
The selected leader will oversee the clinical operational and strategic direction of the complex care program providing care for children with medical complexities. The Medical Director will play a key role in improving health outcomes reducing unnecessary healthcare utilization and supporting high-quality interdisciplinary care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design implementation and evaluation of clinical models for complex care delivery
- Develop systems and workflows to support care coordination continuity and transitions of care
- Supervise and support interdisciplinary team members including physicians nurse care coordinators social workers and therapists
- Monitor and improve program outcomes including patient satisfaction hospitalizations emergency visits and care plan adherence
- Guide creation and implementation of individualized care plans in partnership with families and care teams

Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board certified in specialty
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
