AECOM is seeking a USACE Huntsville Center Client Account Manager / Program Manager to join our Federal Environmental Remediation business line. The Client Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of project managers and projects for USACE Huntsville Center District. For the right candidate this opportunity can be remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Works collaboratively with the Federal Remediation Practice Growth Lead Client Account Managers (CAMs) and Business Line Leadership to grow profitable backlog and ensure financial success of the Remediation projects within the USACE Huntsville Center client account
Devise and implement an active HNC client engagement program.
Maintain accurate and updated opportunity pipeline via Salesforce.
Leads MATOC task order capture strategies for key pursuits and major projects within the department ensures those strategies yield high capture rates and grows the business and relevant technical capabilities
Day-to-day operation of AECOMs Huntsville Center program including project delivery performance pricing strategies risk management forecasting and budgeting and performance reporting
Provide support to project managers to resolve project issues and make recommendations to improve project performance. Trouble-shoot problems both common and unique and own issues through resolution.
Direct project management staff to ensure timely effective and efficient performance of project managers responsibilities
In coordination with business line leadership provide guidance in assigning projects and pursuit efforts to project managers
Review proposal and project scopes schedules and budgets
Promote risk management practice within the project management function and develop PM risk competencies including a strong contractual understanding among project managers of how AECOM manages risk and contingencies
Conduct project reviews with project managers in accordance with AECOM global guidelines. Utilize reviews to monitor project-level performance client satisfaction team budget schedule risk and quality management
Oversee project management processes including timely and accurate Estimate at Completion submittals
Support project managers and project team members with invoicing and cash collection strategy.
Drive consistent project management practices and procedures in alignment with AECOM PM requirements
Evaluate and drive AECOM delivery excellence practices
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Environmental Sciences or comparable technical business or professional degree
10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience including 2 years of leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional licensure (PE PG) or registration.
Familiarity with USACE Huntsville Center Environmental Clients.
Recent experience managing Federal Remediation projects including the development of scope schedule and budget and the subsequent monitoring of cost and schedule
Strong project management skills with experience in organizing planning and executing projects from pursuit through closeout involving internal personnel contractors and vendors
Business development skills and experience such as client service and proposal preparation
Understanding of scheduling concepts and earned value management
Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to present to an internal audience and facilitate workshops
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
