Unarmed Security Officer Overnight
Location: Reading PA

Job Summary
KRE Security LLC is seeking experienced reliable Unarmed Security Officers for an overnight security position in Reading PA. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in security operations military service or law enforcement who are looking for a stable overnight shift in a professional work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence during overnight hours
- Perform routine foot and mobile patrols of the assigned site
- Monitor access control points alarms and overall site conditions
- Respond to security incidents emergencies and safety concerns
- Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using Belfry Software
- Enforce post orders client policies and standard operating procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors site contacts and fellow officers
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior unarmed security military or law enforcement experience strongly preferred
- Experience with patrol operations access control and incident reporting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and customer-service-oriented demeanor
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand walk and patrol for extended periods
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Must successfully pass a mandatory background check
- Required in-person orientation prior to assignment
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate: $18.00 per hour (site-specific)
- Overtime paid in accordance with applicable labor laws for hours worked over 40 per week
- Full-time eligibility at 30 or more hours per week
- Paid Time Off: 24 hours accrued after successful completion of the probationary period
- Military veterans and active-duty service members receive an additional $0.25 per hour
