Software Developer – AdenzaAxiom Controller View

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

As a Software Developer Adenza/Axiom(App Migration) you will provide a comprehensive assessment of the existing on-premises solution and infrastructure to facilitate the migration to the Google Cloud VMware Environment (GCVE-PAAS). Your typical day will involve planning delivering and implementing application and data migration strategies that leverage both private and public cloud technologies. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that the migration processes are efficient scalable and aligned with the organizations business objectives ultimately driving next-generation business outcomes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. To contribute independently and be fully accountable for deliverables.
. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
. Analyze the current Software Stack and provide solutions to modernize.
. Engage and stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
. Assist in the development of migration strategies that align with business goals and technical requirements.
. Providing training documentation and support for the systems.
. Provides assessment of existing on-premises solution and infrastructure.
. Critical Software vulnerability identification and remediation
. Enables lift-and-shift migration and Remediation of Software Currency
. Plan deliver and implement application and data migration with scalable high-performance solutions using private cloud technologies.
. Maintain an awareness of emerging trends and best practices in Technology and Solution designs to ensure we provide best client experience and quick solution.
. Have strategic vision and is skilled at bringing together the ideas and innovation that inspires and creates great enterprise level solutions.
. Be hands-on day-to-day working with a team of developers and leads. Designs focused on reusability scalability vulnerability adaptability and implement best practices across.
. Data Integration Security and Management; Workflow Automation and Operational Support of Microsoft Technologies
. Troubleshoot and Debug Application Issues during migration

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Good experience in Adenza/Axiom Controller View Installation and development
. Good development knowledge of SQL queries and procedures
. 5-7 years of application development and support experience
. Good knowledge of SQL Server framework (SSIS SSRS SSMS SSAS)
. Good experience support GUI applications hosted on IIS (SSO Authentication)
. Good knowledge of handling secure data and electronic transfers
. Good experience with Software design coding versioning and deployments (including Bit-Bucket Azure DevOps pipeline).


Nice to Have:

. 2 years experience with Python
. 2 years working on cloud-based platform (Azure GCP)
. Experience using PowerShell and Job automation


CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000$145000. This role is an existing vacancy.
