Job Summary

Activities aimed at proving a concept to be valid or technically feasible by the application of scientific and engineering methodologies. Work in this family typically has the objective of demonstrating through test or analyses the performance and implementation potential of a conceptImpacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Owner of design and manufacturing documentation (BOM WI CI IL CP PFMEA PVPL etc.)
- Responsible for Plant support to address SQDC issues related to infusion & curing process
- Responsible to lead RCA and continuous improvements
- Responsible & accountable to lead ECRs and NCR approver
- Composite manufacturing process development lead in NPIs & NTIs
- Accountable & Owner of composite manufacturing design specifications and process specifications
- Owner of infusion and curing process design in all blade components
- Contributor in material commodity teams (define and control manufacturing process related materials and their properties)
- Owner of mould and infusion tooling Process Requirement Specifications
- Contributor in developing measurement system quality assurance and control method (e.g. epoxy Tg NDT etc.)
- Owner of material characterization testing and process trials in TVC labs
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology. Knowledge level is comparable to a Masters degree from an accredited university or college.
- For roles in USA - Masters degree from an accredited university with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document plan market and execute programs. Established project management skills.
