Job Summary

Mechanical Engineer Theme Park / Large-Scale Systems
Location: Orlando FL On-Site Travel: Up to 35%

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design analysis and commissioning of large-scale mechanical systems for amusement rides and industrial automation projects. You will work on full system designfrom concept through installationensuring safety reliability and performance in fast-paced multi-disciplinary environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design analyze and implement mechanical systems for large-scale projects including theme park ride systems
Perform stress fatigue load and failure mode (FMEA) analysis
Conduct hazard/risk assessments and ensure compliance with ASTM safety standards
Develop detailed mechanical drawings and assemblies using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Troubleshoot and commission pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical control systems onsite
Lead projects as a technical lead or Project Manager for $50K$250K projects coordinating engineers technicians and contractors
Prepare system documentation test plans and maintenance/job plans

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
Experience: 710 years in mechanical system design including full system design and field installation; experience with theme park or industrial ride systems preferred
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks; knowledge of mechanical system analysis software (e.g. ANSYS Abaqus) is a plus
Strong understanding of mechanical components stress/fatigue analysis acceleration forces and ASTM safety standards
Ability to travel up to 35% and work onsite at client locations
