Safety Coordinator Manufacturing (2nd Shift)

Location: Ponca City OK
Schedule: 2nd Shift 3:00 PM12:00 AM (MF OT)
Salary: $60000$75000 base up to 14% bonus

Were hiring a Safety Coordinator to partner with plant leadership and drive a proactive safety culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on hazard prevention OSHA compliance safety training and incident investigations to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with plant leadership to promote a proactive prevention-focused safety culture
Assist the Safety Manager with implementing and maintaining OSHA EHS and regulatory compliance programs
Lead incident reporting investigations root cause analysis and corrective action tracking
Develop and deliver monthly safety training and specialized safety programs
Conduct routine safety audits inspections and risk assessments
Review and improve work practices to reduce safety risks

Required Qualifications

2 years of safety experience in manufacturing (assembly machine shop industrial or food manufacturing)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (highly preferred)
Experience delivering safety training and supporting incident investigations
Ability to work independently multitask and make sound safety decisions
Comfortable working in loud hot/cold refrigerated and industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications

Food manufacturing experience
CSP CIH or CPE certification
Prior supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing
