The Opportunity

The Events and Engagement team have an exciting 12 month opportunity for an Events and Engagement Manager.

The Events and Engagement Manager applies extensive events and planning expertise to lead the Vice-Chancellor and Presidents and Chancellors high-profile events programs and engagement activities. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive event and visit programs schedules and project plans managing and overseeing risks and issues budgets suppliers and all logistical aspects to ensure the success of events and visit programs and associated activities.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for playing a key role in the Event and Engagement team in co-ordinating and overseeing a work environment of continuous review and improvement of operational processes and service provision. You will provide event management support to help related External Engagement areas reach and engage their stakeholders including alumni donors and prospective donors government and industry representatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and event management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
