Job Summary
Parkhurst Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary ESE Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating a positive structured and encouraging classroom environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
- Develop and implement lesson plans that support individualized learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are provided
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and records
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents/guardians
- Maintain a safe respectful and supportive learning environment
- Support student social/emotional growth and positive behavior development
