The Opportunity
We are partnering with a major UK Telecommunications provider to deliver their flagship Agentic AI transformation programme. From our Innovation Hub in Athlone we are building a CTO 2.0 ecosystem transitioning the client from legacy manual workflows to an intelligent automated operating model powered by Autonomous AI Agents.
We are seeking a Senior Software & Platform Architect to lead the design of the core Agentic AI Platform responsible for the cloud-native architecture AI enablement security and developer frameworks that underpin the programme.
Key Responsibilities
Own the high-level architecture of the Agentic AI Platform on Google Cloud (GCP).
Define cloud-native microservices patterns orchestration and deployment models.
Design secure integration between AI models vector databases data pipelines and APIs.
Establish governance frameworks for Generative AI including RAG architectures and compliance controls.
Define and govern API standards (OpenAPI/Swagger) and event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub).
Act as Design Authority for platform and software architecture across delivery teams.
Collaborate closely with the Telecom Architect to ensure platform alignment with network use cases.
Must-Have Skills
5 years operating as a Senior or Lead Software / Solution Architect.
Deep expertise in GCP (Cloud Run GKE Apigee IAM networking).
Proven experience architecting AI-enabled platforms using LLMs Vector Databases and Big Data pipelines.
Strong mastery of microservices distributed systems and event-driven design.
Experience designing secure scalable enterprise platforms.
Hands-on proficiency across at least one additional cloud provider (AWS or Azure).
