ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Employee must have the ability to perform the following essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
Section A: Performance Responsibilities
Management: Oversee daily attendance records for all students to ensure compliance with district and state requirements. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
for daily student attendance using the districts student information system.
absences tardies and early dismissals in a timely and accurate manner.
reasons for absences and lateness by reviewing and filing parent/guardian excuse notes.
attendance trends and report concerns to building administrators.
and distribute daily attendance reports to staff as required.
and monitor CVA attendance per CVA guidelines.
and monitor CEAP attendance (High School).
appropriate absence codes for dual enrollment CPYB Diversified Occupations and hybrid CVA schedules of students who leave early (High School)
attendance corrections for ASVAB NOCTI PSAT Keystone and AP testing days (High School).
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized attendance records and prepare reports for administrators and staff. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
discipline and attendance reports for tardies and unexcused absences.
excuse forms and early dismissal notes daily.
documentation for truancy and student attendance improvement plans.
compliance with state attendance laws and district attendance policies.

administrators and counselors with requests for attendance information and verification.
and Collaboration: Support clear communication between families students and staff regarding attendance expectations and updates. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
to attendance-related phone calls and emails in a professional manner.
families of student absences as directed by administration.
attendance data and summaries for teachers and school counselors.
with staff to ensure timely follow-up on chronic attendance issues.
and Clerical Support: Perform general clerical duties to support the efficient operation of the Attendance Office. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
phones greet visitors and respond to inquiries.
and prepare correspondence forms and reports.
copy and fax documents as needed.
and deliver interoffice mail (if applicable).
back-up assistance to the main office when necessary.
district wide truancy files (High School).
-Specific Responsibilities: Complete administrative responsibilities related to the specific positions buildings and/or levels.
Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
