Job Summary

Our Outside School Hours Care service Eight Mile Plains State School Helping Handsis looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinatorto assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.

This is apermanent part-timeopportunity offering15 hours per weekto assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. Youll work Monday to Friday in split shifts across our programs:

Rise then Shine Program Morning shifts (6:30am 8:30am)
Stay and Play Program Afternoon shifts (2:40pm 6:00pm)
Holiday HQ Program Extra hours available during school holidays (6:30am 6:00pm)

About the role 

Get ready for an exciting opportunity to co-manage a dynamic team of Educators where youll experience the perfect blend of support and leadership growth! 

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! 
  • Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents 
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite including roster management 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Qualifications :

Hold or working towards a relevant Diploma-level (or higher) qualification for working with children as per ACECQA
