Travel Consultant (Cebu City)

Role Overview
As a travel consultant you will be the primary point of contact for clients turning their travel plans into reality. Your role involves providing expert advice managing complex bookings and ensuring every traveler has a seamless compliant and stress-free journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert Advice: Consult with clients on destinations transport lodging and essential travel insurance.
- End-to-End Bookings: Manage reservations for flights hotels cruises and tours while staying within client budgets.
- Problem Resolution: Act as a dedicated support resource for passengers resolving issues and handling escalations with practical solutions.
- Logistics & Liaison: Coordinate directly with airlines hotels and tour operators to verify details and ensure smooth operations.
- Regulatory Guidance: Stay updated on visa requirements and entry policies to provide clients with accurate travel information.
- Administration: Maintain organized client records and prepare necessary travel documentation and reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Professional Experience: At least 1 year in the travel industry. Prior experience handling difficult passenger cases is a plus.
- Education: A degree in tourism or hospitality management is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: * Mandatory: Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus Sabre or Galileo.
- General: Skilled in MS Office and various digital booking platforms.
- Core Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities high attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
