Location: Northeastern United States (must reside within reasonable proximity to a major metro area in the region)
Position Overview
A well-established organization within the digital imaging and production printing industry is seeking a Senior Account Executive to support a defined Northeastern territory. This role is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of high-production printing solutions across commercial print service bureau corporate in-plant and specialty printing environments.
The Senior Account Executive will focus on developing new business expanding existing accounts and driving long-term customer partnerships through a consultative solution-based sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage senior executives and key decision-makers to assess business needs and recommend appropriate production printing solutions
- Build and maintain strong value-driven relationships with both existing and prospective customers
- Grow territory revenue through competitive equipment replacements and new account acquisition
- Develop and execute short- and long-term account strategies to support sustained customer commitments
- Manage complex multi-stage sales cycles using a consultative selling methodology
- Prepare and present customized proposals including application recommendations pricing and implementation plans
- Coordinate internal support resources including service software product specialists and technical teams
- Align internal teams to ensure consistent execution of account strategies
- Demonstrate resilience accountability and focus in achieving sales targets and activity expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business-to-business sales preferably within production printing or capital equipment
- Proven success selling capital equipment to executive-level decision-makers
- Strong business financial and analytical skills
- Proficiency with standard business software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a sales territory effectively
- Strong consultative and solution-oriented sales capabilities
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory including overnight travel as needed (valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required)
