Job Summary

Director of Information Security

Location: Irvine CA

We are looking to hire a Director of Information Security to lead the organizations information security strategy operations and risk management initiatives. This role is responsible for protecting enterprise systems data and infrastructure while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. The Director will partner closely with executive leadership IT and business stakeholders to build and maintain a strong security posture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop implement and maintain the enterprise information security strategy
Lead security governance risk management and compliance programs
Oversee cybersecurity operations including threat detection incident response and vulnerability management
Establish and enforce security policies standards and controls
Partner with IT and business teams to embed security into systems and processes
Manage third-party risk vendor security assessments and audits
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry frameworks
Lead and develop a high-performing information security team
Provide security guidance for cloud infrastructure application and data initiatives
Communicate security risks and metrics to executive leadership

Required Qualifications

8 years of experience in information security cybersecurity or IT risk management
3 years of experience in a leadership or management role
Strong knowledge of security frameworks governance and risk management practices
Experience building and leading enterprise security programs
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and audit requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments
Familiarity with cloud security and modern security architectures
Professional security certifications (CISSP CISM CRISC or similar)
