Responsibilities
This internship offers an experience within Wipflis Technical Operations Center (TOC) and Service Desk area. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to system monitoring incident response client support and cybersecurity operations. The program is designed to build foundational technical and consulting skills while preparing interns for future career opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor enterprise-wide systems using tools Azure D365 and more
- Provide excellent customer service support to firm clients for Wipfli supported hardware and software issues of low to moderate complexity
- Investigate alerts verify issues and escalate to senior team members as needed
- Resolves issues in accordance with team and firm procedures.
- Reviews and maintains documentation and knowledge base as directed or indicated according to firm policies and procedures.
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of client systems and support policies and procedures.
- Records all actions communications and resolutions for issues being investigated in appropriate systems according to firm policies and procedures.
- Participate in demos and collaborative projects
- Participate in internship capstone projects and feedback loops to enhance program impact
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Information Technology IT Infrastructure Networking Cybersecurity or related field
degree from an accredited college or university - Previous customer service experience preferred
- Prior computer system experience including Azure Windows Operating System and Microsoft D365.
- Hardware maintenance and repair skills desired
- Ability to plan prioritize and organize work effectively while balancing many projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
- Ability to know when to escalate or seek guidance on an issue or roadblock.
- Ability to obtain certifications or is working towards appropriate certifications.
- Proven written and verbal skills are very important for this position
- Proficient in Word Excel and Outlook
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Wipfli will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H-1B status)
