Job Summary
HelloFresh is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic People Services US Payroll this role you will be responsible for assisting in supporting the end-to-end processing of multi-state payroll operations. You will work closely with Global People teamincluding local HR Benefits HR Technology and Shared Services toensure payroll accuracy and deliver an exceptional employee experience.
This role reports to the Senior Payroll Manager and plays a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting process improvements.

Support the end-to-end processing of bi-weekly and weekly off-cycle payroll for U.S. employees across multiple states in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist team in accurately validate payroll data including new hires terminations pay rate changes bonuses shift differentials and leaves of absence.
Assist in reconciling payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmations ensuring proper tax withholdings and deductions.
Partner with HR/Benefits teams to ensure accurate and complete payroll inputs.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries via ticket system with professionalism providing clear and timely resolution.
Assist in preparing payroll reports and supporting internal audits.
Maintain up-to-date payroll documentation and employee records to meet audit and legal standards.
Participate in system enhancements testing and payroll-related process improvements.
Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with HelloFreshs scale and complexity.
You have...
3-5 years of experience in payroll
Ideally some prior experience working with global payroll systems such as Workday HCM & Payroll ADP/Smart Compliance or similar enterprise platforms would be preferred.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Prior experience in a high-growth consumer-facing or e-commerce company.
Experience in Microsoft Excel; VLOOKUPs pivot tables etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced distributed team environment.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
3-5 years of experience in payroll
