Job Title: Development Asset Lead Director Development
About This Role:
As a Development Asset Lead (DAL) you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic development and execution of one or more preclinical or clinical stage portfolio assets within our Development team. This full-time leadership position requires you to craft and implement an integrated asset plan (IAP) that maximizes value creation and delivery. You will ensure that all functional voices are represented and that business considerations of time risk and value are integrated seamlessly into the planning and execution phases. This role is crucial to our business as you will be accountable to governance mechanisms for asset-related decisions and represent the asset at portfolio governance forums. Through strategic partnership with the Program Manager you will ensure the efficient and timely execution of the asset plan fostering a strong team culture and maintaining alignment with our organizational goals and values.
What Youll Do:
- Lead the development and ongoing refinement of integrated plans for assets to maximize value creation.
- Establish and maintain clear asset goals timelines and risk management strategies.
- Drive accountability among functional team members and ensure delivery of functional level plans.
- Represent the asset at portfolio governance forums and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Integrate scientific and business considerations to support asset execution and decision-making.
- Foster a strong team culture for effective planning and execution of asset strategies.
- Contribute to departmental community practices to promote program synergies.

Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred (MS/MD/PhD/PharmD/MBA).
- 10-12 years of drug development experience in pharma or biotech.
- Proven track record of strategic leadership in delivering complex cross-functional goals.
- Experience in creating and executing clinical development plans aligned with broader strategies.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic areas and optimal development strategies.
- Ability to understand competitive and business implications of emerging scientific and medical data.
Preferred Skills:
- Deep understanding of Minimum and Target Product Profile (MPP TPP) concepts.
- Working understanding of regulatory requirements and processes for drug development.
- Experience in development and execution of pivotal clinical studies for drug registration.

The base compensation range for this role is: $212000.00-$292000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including but not limited to relevant skills & experience job location and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual business unit and company performance.
