Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) School-Based
Location: Elizabeth CO
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 16 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift MondayFriday 7:30 AM 3:30 PM (5 x 7.5-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $35/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide school-based behavioral support services to students requiring individualized interventions. The RBT will play a key role in implementing behavior support plans promoting positive student outcomes and supporting academic and social development within a structured classroom setting.
Responsibilities
Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support in accordance with individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under the supervision of a BCBA or designated professional
Support behavior regulation social skills development and classroom engagement
Collect and document accurate real-time data on behavior progress and skill acquisition
Assist with de-escalation techniques while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers special education staff and related service providers
Support daily routines transitions and classroom activities
Maintain professional documentation and adhere to school and district policies
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required and in hand)
Minimum 1 year of school-based experience as an RBT or behavioral support professional
CPI Certification required
Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior management strategies
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Coursework or degree in Psychology Education Special Education or related field preferred
