Job Summary
Do you have strong structural detailing and rebar scheduling skills This role offers the opportunity to work closely with structural engineers to produce high-quality drawings BIM models and reinforcement schedules within a fast-paced consulting engineering environment.
Job Description:
- Produce detailed structural drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD
- Prepare reinforcing layouts and rebar schedules using AutoCAD Rebar
- Collaborate closely with structural engineers to interpret design requirements and technical specifications
- Update manage and maintain Revit models throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with relevant standards and project requirement
Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Revit (including families and template creation) and AutoCAD
- Proven experience detailing reinforced concrete structural steel masonry and timber structures
- Exposure to BIM workflows and construction documentation standards
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Minimum 47 years relevant structural detailing experience
Qualification:
- Grade 12 with certification in Revit and AutoCAD (essential)
- Diploma Advanced Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering or a related field (advantageous)
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
