Spectrolab Inc.Spectrolab Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company seeks a Semiconductor Engineer to serve as Solar Cell Device and Panel Product Engineer who can define characterize and qualify solar cell devices and panel assemblies as well as the associated materials and processes for current programs and next generation technology developments. You will provide product and process support to meet customer product performance quality improvement design for manufacture (DFM) and cost reduction objectives.

Spectrolabs state-of-the-art space solar cells and panels power satellites in Earths orbit as well as the International
Space Station. Since its founding in 1956 Spectrolab has led the way in the development of high efficiency solar cells for space missions. During the Apollo 11 mission in 1969 a Spectrolab product became the first solar panel to be placed on the moon.
Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Top Secret clearance post-start is required.

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) computer science engineering data science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) computer science engineering data science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
