Job Summary
Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby Minnesota and Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin Minnesotaare seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physician. You can expect a busy generalist OB/GYN practice in a physician-led financially stable organization committed to both high quality patient care and a high level of patient satisfaction.
Locations: Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby and Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin Minnesota
Work Schedule
Full-time is 4-day work week
Mix of clinic operating room and labor and delivery coverage
Call 1: days evenings weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care for OB/GYN in three settings:
- Outpatient clinic surgery/operating room Labor & Delivery
- Serve as a Collaborative physician for several family medicine physicians who provide OB care and one certified nurse midwife
- Functions as part of a care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills both their own and those of other providers and staff
- 24/7 anesthesia support
- Experienced L&D nursing team
- Large and modern LDRP rooms (labor delivery recovery and postpartum) with jet tubs
- Nitrous oxide for laboring patients
- 3 DaVinci robots between 2 hospitals(CRMC Crosby and Riverwood Health in Aitkin)
- Womens Health nurse practitioner support in clinic and operating room as surgical assistants
- Support from Senior Experienced partners
- Busy surgical practice with a minimum of 1/2 day a week surgical block time
- Chart in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope (EPIC is our electronic medical record)
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to patient care
- Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in the delivery of patient care patient outcomes and workflows
Qualifications
Education
- This position requires a Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.) Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
Licensure/Certification
Must have current unrestricted state of Minnesota Medical license
- Must be board certified or board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology

Site Descriptions:
Crosby-Ironton is a city of 3000 residents and is part of the Brainerd and Cuyuna Lakes Area in central Minnesota which has become a top 5 destination in the United States for mountain biking. Crosby is just 15 miles from Brainerd MN and 2 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul MN. The Brainerd Regional Airport which is serviced by Delta Airlines is located 11 miles from Crosby. We are within a 2-hour radius of Alexandria Duluth and St. Cloud.
Aitkin is a city of approximately 2000 residents and is located 15 miles east of Crosby / Ironton. Its known for small-town historic charm and access to outdoor recreation on the Mississippi River and nearby lakes. Aitkin is located approximately 2.5 hours north of Mpls/St. Paul about 20 miles from the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport and about 1-hour and 45 minutes from Duluth.
Location/Community Information
The Brainerd/Cuyuna Lakes Area boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake in the back woods or in one of our many close by communities. There are great high school sports local events community theater or enough bike trails to spend hours riding through our beautiful lakes area. The area has great schools and a two year college.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Please keep in mind that the actual pay rate offered could be higher for some candidates depending on many factors including each individual providers experience level and/or preferred education or certifications.
