Job Description
The Junior Production Engineer in Sheffield will support daily production activities building and testing electronic instruments in Sheffield. The role in Sheffield includes visual inspection of PCBs component-level fault finding and supporting quality and documentation processes in Sheffield. Working in Sheffield the Junior Production Engineer will also assist the Service and R&D teams and occasionally collect and deliver parts from suppliers using a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
Build and test instruments
Inspect PCBs and fault-find to component level
Support QA documentation and process improvements
Support Service and R&D teams
Collect and deliver parts as required
Requirements
Essential:
Attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
Microsoft Office skills
Willingness to learn
Desirable:
Electronics qualification or IPC-A-610 awareness
Soldering and electronics manufacturing experience
ISO 9001 experience
