Job Summary:
MaineGeneral is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our team. This role plays a key part in both patient care and procedural support within the Endoscopy Unit. Core responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms assisting with patient care cleaning scopes and maintaining inventory and supplies.

Position: Endoscopy Technician (CNA)
Location: Alfond Center for Health Augusta
Schedule: Part-time (36 hours/week)
Shift: Days
What Youll Do:
- Assists physicians and nurses with performing procedures and providing patient care.
- Obtains tissue and bodily fluid specimens.
- Prepares and maintains endoscopy equipment and supplies. Performs endoscope re-processing.
- Maintains the GI procedure area in a clean safe condition. Ensures necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures.

- Excellent interpersonal written/verbal communication and technical support skills
