The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Business Operations Specialist (Level 4 or 5) to support the Program Planning & Integration team based out of North Charleston South Carolina.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support the 787 Program Management team with the ability to take on Highly complex Projects and drive integration across multiple functions
- Ensure coordination management and delivery of program and project deliverables within the relevant scope
- Develop and implement large-scale high impact integrated organizational plans to ensure strategic business technical and customer requirements are achieved.
- Pro-actively communicate with leadership team peers and customers.
- Independently develops coordinates integrates analyzes an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
- Performs studies analysis (trend variance impact) risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives
- Creates schedule reports metrics change activity communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
- Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
- Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
- Assists stakeholders to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
- Works to improve project management processes business systems and implement best practices that support project decision makers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of combined education and relevant work experience
- 5 years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
- 5 years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
- 5 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Leadership experience in a change management team
- Interfacing with program leadership
- Ability to provide analysis and strategic guidance to peer functions: Engineering Fabrication and Supply Chain
