Job Summary
PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Onsite in Claremore OK
Up to $47/hour (based on experience)
We are hiring an experienced PACU RN to join a busy Operating Roombased PACU in Claremore OK. This is a local MondayFriday position supporting post-anesthesia recovery for inpatient surgical patients.
Schedule & Call:
- MondayFriday
- OR coverage: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- On call: Once per week one weekend per month
Unit Details:
- Busy PACU (strictly OR cases)
- Patient ratios: 1:4 standard 1:6 max
- PACU RN reviews inpatient surgical patients
- Cerner EMR required
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients
- Manage airways pain and hemodynamic stability
- Administer medications and IV therapies
- Collaborate with anesthesia surgeons and OR teams
- Accurate documentation in Cerner
- Maintain patient safety and compliance standards
Requirements:
- Active Oklahoma RN license
- Minimum 3 years PACU experience (5 years preferred)
- BLS ACLS and PALS required
- Cerner experience required
- Dependable reliable and comfortable in a fast-paced PACU
