We are looking for:EmergencyVeterinaryTechnicianAssistant - Part Time (Saturday Only)

Proposed Schedule: Saturdays 8am-8pm

Never a dull moment in theER!Ourpatients need constant supervision to ensure treatment plans are executed. This department is perfect forsomeone who can identifypatientdistress and react accordingly enjoysassisting with recovery and client follow up and education.

What youll do:

Ensure patients receive qualitycare

Ensure documentation is accurate andcomplete

Oversight/care for stablepatients

Assist Veterinary Technicians with patientrestraint

Manage the restocking of supplies for clinicalteams

Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs ofdepartment

Who you are:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette

Ability to multi-task self-motivated and strongattention to detail

Work successfully as a team member andautonomously

Sense of urgency Critical thinking skills

Effective patient restraint

Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours whennecessary

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pacedenvironment

Prior veterinary experience
