They manage projects from initial client briefing through to final construction including preparing drawings CAD/BIM models cost estimates and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning: Create edit and present architectural designs detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD/Revit software.
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to define project requirements constraints and budget.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with zoning laws building codes and safety regulations.
Project Management: Coordinate with engineers contractors and consultants to oversee structural electrical and mechanical integration.
Site Supervision: Visit construction sites to verify progress materials and quality align with blueprints.
Documentation: Prepare feasibility studies construction documents contracts and proposals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: A professional degree in architecture (Bachelors or Masters) and relevant often required licensure.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in CAD software BIM (Revit) and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp etc.).
