Phone Delivery and Carryout Food Service Associate

One Lincoln Park in Dayton OH is looking to hire a full-time food service associate to provide phone delivery and carryout services for residents at our retirement community. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PHONE DELIVERY and CARRYOUT FOOD SERVICE ASSOCIATE

The One Lincoln Park Culinary department strives to provide superior service to our residents and guests. We do this by:

• Operating a full service restaurant and bistro 7 days a week.
• Private dining for special meals and events.
• Offering delivery and carryout options for all meal periods.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver room service during the lunch shift. Bag and distribute all carryout orders.
• Review all carryout and room service orders with the customer to ensure accuracy.
• Answer phone calls as they come in.
• Receive and place all voicemail orders.
• Call all customers back to confirm the order has been received.
• Work in tandem with all staff.
• Other tasks as requested or assigned

Requirements:

• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Have a reliable source of transportation to and from work. Twisting and bending.
• Ability to lift at least up to 50lbs.
• Speak with all customers and employees.
• Ability to climb stares and walk for long periods at a time.
• Attention to accuracy order management and customer service.
• Multitasking skills.
