As a Health Impact and Engagement Intern you will support Sentara Health Career Camps hosted at multiple hospital locations by assisting with planning logistics recruitment communications and development of educational materials. Provide onsite support during camp weeks and assist with additional community outreach events and projects led by Health Impact and Engagement teams. Interns will receive experiential learning through operational engagement and collaboration with crossfunctional teams.

This internship provides a meaningful learning experience where youll work sidebyside with a supportive team member. Youll take on real project responsibilities and assist with initiatives that help drive the departments work forward.

Location: Remote - Must be located in an approved SWS work state listed below

Hours per week: 30-40

Duration: 15 weeks

Responsibilities:

Support colleagues with project tasks and deliverables
Help with administrative duties such as scheduling meetings or preparing reports
Conduct research and analysis on topics relevant to the department
Contribute to the development and execution of projects
Prepare and organize data for presentations and reports
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
Communicate ongoing progress related to currently assigned tasks and assist with day-to-day operations.

Education

Must be currently pursuing and/or enrolled in a college or university at an undergraduate or graduate level.
