Job Summary
Baptist Health & Rehab a Cassia community is hiring a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our dedicated care team. As a Health Unit Coordinator you will coordinate information and provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and the best possible experience for our residents and visitors. Our ideal candidate has knowledge of medical terminology prior experience and takes pride in being dependable organized and team focused.
Position Type:Part-Time including rotating every 3rd or 4th weekend
Shifts Available:
Days: 8:00 am -4:30 pm

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Responsibilities:
- Enter physicians orders with high degree of accuracy.
- Schedulemedical appointments and transportation.
- Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
- Provide ongoing customer service to residents family members and facility visitors.
- Assist withinventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
- Complete other tasks as requested.
- Experience as a healthunit coordinator or health information certification preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
- Time management skillsfor working in a fast-paced multi-taskenvironment.
