JOB SUMMARY

The BKV Land department is seeking a dynamic individual to help drive and coordinate Lands efforts in support of the companysdCarbonVentures business unit and initiatives. The Land Manager dCarbonVentures will work closely with thedCarbonand Land teams inacquiringsitingandmaintainingland assets for the development of carbon capture and sequestration projects and other accretive use cases. This individual will both personally drive and oversee efforts to grow BKVs position in this growing field. The role will be focused on negotiation acquisition project management data review and analysis document preparation andnumerousunique needs as they arise.

This role is recognized as a subject matter expert in the work area.Manageslarge projects or processespoliciesand standards under limited supervision. Coachesreviewsand delegates work to junior employees. Problems faced may be difficult and often complex. Demonstrates integrityaccountabilityand transparency; upholds BKV standardsvaluesandculture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Typical job responsibilities of theLand ManagerdCarboninclude:

  • Operate as key point of contact betweendCarbonand Land teams on alldCarbonprojects

  • Assess land resourcing needs for eachdCarbonproject prepare and propose budgets and resourcing plans for review and approval by Sr. Director of Land

  • Develop and execute land and ROW acquisition and siting strategy on all carbon sequestration projects

  • Build andmaintainrelationships including negotiation with key counterparts including emission sources landowners andareaindividuals of influence.

  • Manage and drive land and broker teams with both internal and external support in execution of acquisition strategies

  • Oversee and drive the acquisition of all necessary pipeline ROW easements utility water and other ancillary rightsfordCarbonprojects

  • Track project progress and key benchmarking with regular updates to Land and company leadership

  • Assess major project variables perform risk assessments and communicate risks and mitigations to LanddCarbonand BKV leadership

  • Contribute to overall BKVdCarbonstrategy and execution process including technologyselection team and project structure and areas of interest

  • Close coordination across business units at BKV as projects require

  • Work closely with Land Administration and other functions on data and document and data organization

  • Provide support toadditionalbusiness units within BKV including upstream midstream Power and M&A activity as bandwidth and need allows.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Understanding ofnatural gas industry standards market trends emergingissuesand regulatoryrequirements.

  • Demonstrated experience in document and data management and oil and gastitle.

  • Leadership skillsincludingan advanced ability to work cross-departmentally developothersand influence the organization to achieveresults.

  • Proficient in excel GIS tools PowerPoint or Smartsheet.

  • Knowledge of other business intelligence tools for dashboards querying visualization etc. is a plus.

  • Ability to thrive in adynamicfast-pacedenvironment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelorsdegreeis.

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in land negotiation or similar experience in the oil and gas industry realestateor natural resources.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position can belocatedat the BKV Headquartersin Denver CO.

  • Remote and hybrid work will be considered.

  • Some travel up to (20%) may be.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based environment with collaborativeworkspaces;may occasionally be exposed to moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability tooperatea computer and standard office equipment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds may be.
