Systems Architecting, Requirements & Interfaces Engineer (Experienced, Lead or Senior)

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Mobility Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Systems Architecting Requirements & Interfaces Engineer in support of the Bombers Sustainment Systems Engineering Integration & Testing (SEIT) organization in Oklahoma City OK. This position will be focused on supporting B-52 Sustainment programs for Systems Engineering primarily interfacing with software teams and program management.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced Lead or Senior Level Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

Experienced (Level 3)

• Applies an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan design develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces.
• Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Performs analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
• Develops the planning organization implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Lead (Level 4)

• Applies an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan design develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces.
• Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Performs analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
• Develops maintains and identifies improvements for the planning organization implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Senior (Level 5)

• Applies an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to lead activities to plan design develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces.
• Leads analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Leads analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
• Leads develops maintains and identifies improvements the planning organization implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 3 years of software requirements related work.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 3: 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Level 4: 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Level 5: 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge and/or experience in software testing.
• Experience using DOORS or a similar type of requirements software.
• Experience writing documents such as CDRLs that will be delivered to customers.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced level (Level 3): $104550 - $141450

Summary pay range for Lead level (Level 4): $127500 - $172500

Summary pay range for Senior level (Level 5): $153000 - $207000
